Off-campus Dining Plan and Meal Ticket Changes Effective in August

In August 2018, changes will go into effect that impact off-campus dining plans and guest meal tickets, MSU department meal cards and MSU department charges.

On Aug. 1, 2018, off-campus dining plans will transition to 10-meal bundles at a cost of $7.75 per meal ($77.50 per 10 meals). Students will have the option of purchasing up to 20 bundles in one transaction.

Currently, plans are available in meal access quantities of 25, 50, 100, 125 and 175, ranging from $7.25 to $9.75 per access. The new structure will allow for more flexibility and provide a savings to the dining plan holder. For example, the DineOn 100 plan is currently $875. Starting Aug. 1, the cost for 100 meals accesses for off-campus students will become $775.

Additionally, meal tickets, department cards and department charges will increase to $7.75 per ticket for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Beginning in fall 2018, there will no longer be a separate ticket price for breakfast. Please note that summer meal tickets currently in use expire Aug. 16, 2018, when the summer academic session ends.

Please note there will be no changes to the faculty/staff dining plan at this time.
