2023-24 Buy Ahead Plan

Purchase your Fall 2024 Buy Ahead Dining Plan* through "My Housing" on the Live On website during sign-up from Monday, April 8 through Friday, Aug. 2.

How It Works:

Keep this rate through graduation if you purchase the all-you-care-to-eat (Silver, Gold or Platinum**) dining plan every fall and spring semester and remain an MSU student in good standing. The Buy Ahead plans include:

  • A fixed-rate (purchase per semester) without worrying about future price increases! (Your purchase price will remain at the 2023-24 rate.)
  • Unlimited access to dining halls during open hours
  • Combo-X-Change (12 swipes per week) - Including Starbucks!
  • MOBILE ORDERING! (Currently available at Holden & Holmes Dining)

Rates will be locked in based on your academic level/residence status:

(S = Silver; G= Gold' P = Platinum; rate is per semester)

First-year students (exempt from second-year requirement)

Sophomores (moving off campus Fall 2024)

2022-23 Buy Ahead Program Participants
Students who purchased the 2022-23 Buy Ahead program will continue to receive their locked-in rate if they purchase an unlimited dining plan each fall and spring semester. You will be automatically billed for a dining plan at the Buy Ahead rate unless you cancel your dining plan by the deadline listed in your contract. However, students must sign a new contract each academic year to receive the special rate.
