The hours displayed under each location (at the top) reflect regular, in-semester hours of operation. Any exceptions, such as holidays, breaks, or special hours, will be listed below the regular hours for each location.
Important Notices
- Home Football Game Notice: When MSU hosts a home football game, Residence Education and Housing Services (REHS) locks the exterior doors of residential halls to maintain residents' safety. Access to the building and dining hall is restricted for residents and authorized staff with valid ID only from Friday night through Sunday morning (3 p.m. for Friday evening games).
- Thanksgiving Break (PDF updated 11.08.24): These hours are effective Wednesday, Nov. 27, through Sunday, Dec. 1. They are listed under each location below.
- Winter Break (click here): These hours will be effective starting Friday, Dec. 13, through Sunday, Jan. 12, 2025.
- Dining Plans: Dining Plans will end on Friday, Dec. 13, at 3 p.m., and begin on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025, for spring semester.
- Spring Semester: Hours will be the same as fall semester and will begin on Monday, Jan. 13.
- Please note: Starbucks at the Library will have modified hours during the month of January.
