The annual Student Spartan Chefs competition was recently held at Brody Square. The evening of Feb. 18, five teams of two students each worked under a time crunch, with one hour to create and plate their dish.
Competitors from the Culinary Kitchen, Akia Anderson and Tyler Stinchcomb, were named winners. They created a Masa Cake with Fried Tofu, Lentils and Chocolate Spinach Curry and a side of Green Tomato Chutney. Silver medal winners Hailey Homoly and Camden Quenneville represented East Neighborhood and bronze medal winners Emma Romick and Erin O’Brian are from Brody Neighborhood and Heritage Commons at Landon.
