MSU Culinary Services is holding special dinners to honor Eid al-Fitr.

The celebration commemorates the end of fasting in Ramadan and is also known as the Festival of Breaking the Fast.

Monday, May 2

  • Brody Square (4:30-9 p.m.): Shakshuka, Woody's Grape Leaves, Chicken Kabob, Lamb Kofta
  • The Vista at Shaw (4:30-8 p.m.): Chicken Biryani


Tuesday, May 3

  • The Edge at Akers (4:30-9 p.m.): Goat Biryani, Lentil Tamarind Curry, Paneer Korma
  • South Pointe at Case (4:30-9 p.m.): Goat Biryani, Vegetable Samosa


On each date, both locations will also feature an array of options from Woody’s Oasis Mediterranean Deli, including hummus, and desserts from Shatila Bakery in Dearborn, Mich.
