Eat at State is pleased to offer mobile ordering during the fall and spring semesters. Through the Transact Mobile Ordering app, you can pre-order a meal for pick up. The option is currently offered at Holden Dining Hall, Holmes Dining Hall and Brody Square.
Looking for customizable options? Mobile ordering offers the ability to personalize your menu selections! Menu selections vary by location.
Orders are accepted up until a half hour before a location closes for the day to ensure we have time to fulfill all orders submitted.
Mobile ordering is available Monday-Friday. Pick up is quick and easy! Please see our hours page for any adjustments due to university holidays and breaks.
If you are using an MSU dining plan, it will be a Combo-X-Change. Choose one entrée, one side and one beverage to complete your meal. If you choose additional items beyond what is included, you must use a second payment method to cover the difference.
INSTRUCTIONS (download the app)
- Download TRANSACT MOBILE ORDERING app
- Open and search for MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY
- Sign in using your MSU LOGIN credentials (MSU email and password)
- Select LOCATION, ORDER, and PAY with an MSU dining plan, Spartan Cash, or debit/credit card.
SELECTING YOUR PAYMENT OPTION
We accept all MSU dining plans (as a Combo-X-Change), Spartan Cash, or debit/credit card for payment. After you choose the location (Brody Square, Holden Dining or Holmes Dining) from the home screen, the "Select Tender" screen will pop up. Choose your payment method as follows:
FACULTY/STAFF DINING PLAN
Select FacStaff Combo.
UNLIMITED SILVER, GOLD, OR PLATINUM DINING PLAN
Select Mobile ComboX.
OFF-CAMPUS DINING PLAN
Select Off Campus Student Combo.
SPARTAN CASH / NO DINING PLAN
Select Spartan Cash. (Note: Please choose Spartan Cash to use a Debit or Credit Card. You can add a card during check out by selecting Spartan Card).
