Eat at State is pleased to offer mobile ordering during the fall and spring semesters. Through the Transact Mobile Ordering app, you can pre-order a meal for pick up. The option is currently offered at Holden Dining Hall and Holmes Dining Hall. Orders are accepted up until a half hour before a location closes for the day to ensure we have time to fulfill all orders submitted.
Mobile ordering is available Monday-Friday at Holden and Holmes. Please see our hours page for any adjustments due to university holidays.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Download TRANSACT MOBILE ORDERING app
- Open and search for MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY
- Sign in using your MSU LOGIN credentials (MSU email and password)
- Select LOCATION, ORDER, and PAY with a Silver, Gold, or Platinum dining plan, Spartan Cash, or debit/credit card.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
We accept Silver, Gold, and Platinum dining plans (Combo-X-Change meal), Spartan Cash, or debit/credit card for payment.
SILVER, GOLD, OR PLATINUM DINING PLAN
Pay with a dining plan (Combo-X-Change), Spartan Cash, or debit/credit card. A Combo-X-Change includes one entrée, one side, and one beverage.
OFF-CAMPUS DINING PLAN
Pay with Spartan Cash or debit/credit card.
FACULTY/STAFF DINING PLAN
Pay with Spartan Cash or debit/credit card.
NO DINING PLAN
Pay with Spartan Cash or debit/credit card.
SELECTING COMBO-X-CHANGE AS YOUR PAYMENT OPTION
Silver, Gold, and Platinum dining plan holders may find that Spartan Cash is their default selection for payment in the Transact Mobile Ordering app. If that is the case, please be sure to tap the payment method (where it says 'Spartan Cash' in the screenshot below) and change your selection to 'Mobile ComboX'.
With a Combo-X-Change, choose one entrée, one side, and one beverage. If you choose additional items beyond what is included, you must use a second payment method to cover the difference.
