Culinary Team Enhances Partnership with MSU Dairy Store

The Culinary Services team is proud to announce that MSU Dairy Store is now the single source for hard pack (scooped) ice cream in residential dining halls.

Natural ice creams and cheeses are developed on campus at the MSU Dairy Plant, a 14,000-square-foot facility on campus run by the Food Science and Human Nutrition programs in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources with the goal of preparing undergraduate and graduate students for future careers.

The new partnership for residential dining is part of a Food Stores initiative to build and reinforce campus partnerships. In addition to ice cream flavors, the Culinary Services team utilizes Dairy Store cheeses across campus. For example, the award-winning Smoked Cheddar Cheeseburger served from ON-THE-GO Food Truck features Smoked Cheddar Cheese.

The Dairy Store strives to create new flavors that help delight customers’ taste buds, source quality ingredients, and serve tasty ice cream and cheese with a smile. With 23 ice cream flavors, you’re sure to find a tasty treat you enjoy at Brody Square, Holden Dining Hall, The Edge at Akers and other locations on campus at Michigan State.
