Celebrate the Lunar New Year with Symbolic Flavors
Join us as we celebrate with Lunar New Year dishes that carry deep cultural significance across East and Southeast Asia. From Chinese dumplings, long associated with wealth and prosperity due to their ingot-like shape, to long noodles symbolizing hopes for longevity and a healthy year ahead, each food tells a story.
Many celebrations also feature whole fish to represent abundance in the coming year, Korean tteokguk, a rice cake soup eaten to mark a fresh start and gaining “a year” in age, and Vietnamese Banh Chung, a sticky rice cake symbolizing harmony and heritage. Bright citrus fruits, shared for luck and prosperity, further bring color and meaning to the celebration.
Come enjoy flavors that reflect renewal, good fortune and togetherness as we welcome a prosperous new year!
