The National Association of College & University Food Services (NACUFS) Midwest Regional Conference is coming up March 25-27 in Madison, Wisconsin. Several Culinary Services team members will present at the event, sharing knowledge with foodservice professionals nationwide.

Spring Break Hours

Beginning Friday, March 2, spring break dining hours will be in effect through Sunday, March 11.

Brenda Nelson

Brenda Nelson, complex dining service manager for East Neighborhood, was recently honored with the Inspirational Woman of the Year Award in the Professional Advancement category by the MSU Center for Gender in Global Context (GenCen).

Presented in February 2018, the award is bestowed upon a woman who demonstrates a unique drive and passion for her career and contributes positively to MSU’s culture of excellence.

Asia Henderson

Asia Henderson, a junior majoring in creative advertising, was recently awarded a scholarship to help further her education. She is a student team member at the MSU Union Food Court.

Batman actor on the Batcycle

Michigan State University (MSU) Culinary Services (CS) has been awarded silver in the residential dining special event category from the National Association of College and University Food Services (NACUFS) for the Superheroes Halloween Event held at Hubbard Hall in October 2016. The award was presented July 15 during the NACUFS National Conference in Nashville, Tenn.
