Sparty’s Market at 1855 Place is a grocery store located inside 1855 Place at the corner of Harrison Road and Kalamazoo Street. This location features prepared foods, grab-and-go meals, a wide variety of dry grocery items, health and beauty needs, general household items and more.
Dining plan holders can redeem their Combo-X-Change (CX) for designated items at the market. Look for our color-coding to help identify eligible items, or ask a team member for assistance.

Sparty's Market at Holden and Sparty's Market at Holmes (opening this fall)
Culinary Services is elevating convenience and variety at Holden and Holmes halls by transitioning these dining locations into Sparty's Markets.
- Both locations are Grab & Go and offer chef-prepared, prepackaged meals and an expanded selection of grocery products
- Mobile ordering will be available via the Grubhub app
- These locations will use our Combo-X-Change meal access for those with a dining plan
- Menu items are combined as a CX as follows: A = beverages, B = entrées, and C = sides/snacks
- Students and guests without a dining plan may pay à la carte for grab-and-go items
Additional Enhancements:
- Sparty’s Market at Holden will introduce more retail/grocery options and a new Açaí bowl station
- Four flavors: Açaí, Dragon Fruit, Coconut, Cocoa
- Standard off-menu or customizable
- Sparty’s Market at Holmes will include a refreshed store layout for easier shopping and food lockers for mobile order pickup through Grubhub, streamlining the grab-and-go experience
- Both locations have seating areas for dining, studying, and other activities; Guests may use the space even if they are not eating
