Eat at State is pleased to offer mobile ordering during the fall and spring semesters. You can pre-order a meal to pick up through the Transact Mobile Ordering app. The option is currently offered at Holden Dining Hall and Holmes Dining Hall.
Looking for customizable options? Mobile ordering allows you to personalize your menu selections, which vary by location.
Orders are accepted until half an hour before a location closes for the day to ensure we have time to fulfill all submitted orders.
Mobile ordering is available Monday through Friday. Pickup is quick and easy! Please see our hours page for any adjustments due to university holidays and breaks.
If you are using an MSU dining plan, it will be a Combo-X-Change. To complete your meal, choose one entrée, one side and one beverage. You must use a second payment method to cover the difference if you select additional items beyond what is included.
INSTRUCTIONS (download the app)
- Download the TRANSACT MOBILE ORDERING app
- Open and search for MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY
- Sign in using your MSU LOGIN credentials (MSU email and password)
- Select LOCATION, ORDER, and PAY with an MSU dining plan, Spartan Cash, or debit/credit card.
SELECTING YOUR PAYMENT OPTION
We accept all MSU dining plans (as a Combo-X-Change), Spartan Cash, or debit/credit card for payment. After you choose the location (Brody Square, Holden Dining or Holmes Dining) from the home screen, the "Select Tender" screen will pop up. Choose your payment method as follows:
FACULTY/STAFF DINING PLAN
Select FacStaff Combo.
UNLIMITED SILVER, GOLD, OR PLATINUM DINING PLAN
Select Mobile ComboX.
OFF-CAMPUS DINING PLAN
Select Off Campus Student Combo.
SPARTAN CASH / NO DINING PLAN
Select Spartan Cash. (Note: Please choose Spartan Cash to use a Debit or Credit Card. You can add a card during check out by selecting Spartan Card).
