Culinary Services – Important Key Dates
The following provides an overview of hours for 2024-25. MSU Culinary Services operates a condensed/limited basis during holidays. Please note that these hours may impact dining locations in your neighborhood. Current Hours of operation are always available at EAT AT STATE.
Fall 2024:
AYCE Meal Plans Monday, August 19th – Friday, December 13th at 3pm
Meal Contract excludes use during the Thanksgiving Break, 11/28 – 11/30
Unlimited AYCE and 12 – CX scans per week
Labor Day
Monday, September 2, 2024
All RD AYCE Dining Units are open except Shaw, Holden, and Holmes
Limited Retail units open
Fall 2024 Break
Monday, October 21, 2024 – Tuesday, October 22, 2024
All RD AYCE Dining Units are open for normal Fall Operational Hours

Thanksgiving Break
Thursday, November 28, 2024 – Sunday, December 1, 2024
All CS Units close at 3pm on Wednesday, November 27, 2024
All RD Dining units re-open on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at 4:30pm
Limited Retail units open on Sunday, December 1, 2024
Winter Break
Saturday, December 14, 2024 – Saturday, January 11, 2025
All CS Dining units will close at 3pm on Friday, December 13, 2024
All Fall On-Campus Meal plans will end on December 13, 2024 at 3pm
Limited CS Dining units open for service during the Winter Break period
Meal purchases are available as a pre-paid package through LIVE ON or at the time of entry
Spring 2025:
AYCE Meal Plans Saturday, January 11th, 2025 – Friday, May 2nd at 3pm
Meal Contract includes Spring Break period, limited operations open for service

Unlimited AYCE and 12 – CX scans per week
MLK Day
Monday, January 20, 2025
All RD AYCE Dining Units are open, except Shaw

Ramadan
Friday, February 28, 2025 – Sunday, March 30, 2025
Accommodations are made for student who observe Ramadan related to food options
• Students may pick up food from both AYCE or Retail operations and take it home to eat later
• The dining units where special menus have been created specifically for Ramadan, including a take home breakfast option to eat prior to sunup are:

o Akers Dining
o Case Dining
o Gallery Dining
Easter
Sunday, April 20, 2025
All RD AYCE operations are open based on normal hours of operation
Brunch options will be available for the lunch period starting at 11am

Passover
Dinner on Saturday, April 12, 2025 and running through Dinner on Sunday April 20, 2025
Kosher for Passover Meals are available for both lunch and dinner in the following locations:

Summer 2025:
AYCE Meal Plans Monday, May 5th, 2025 – Thursday, August 14th, 2025
Meal Contract includes both first and second sessions, but second session will only be billed if student remains on campus
Unlimited AYCE and 12 – CX scans per week
